The current legal environment makes land development an increasing complex process. There are many challenges and obstacles that arise throughout the life of any project. Working as part of a team, with open and honest communication, we develop workable, constructible designs within project objectives and budgets. Throughout the process, we keep our client and other team members informed of the project status and progress to stay in front of any issues that may be just around the corner. Our team members maintain regular
contact with key regulatory agencies, which enables the firm to provide expeditious services relative to agency reviews and development approvals. As we process construction documents, we approach the agencies with a strong commitment to our client’s best interests, while maintaining a positive and non-adversarial role with the agencies
Sutter Brown has built a specialized Land Development practice that offers complete land development services from due-diligence to construction. From subdivisions to retail centers, we have been responsible for permitting projects of many sizes and types. We have successfully represented developers before numerous agencies, including regional planning councils. We are experienced in preparing permit applications for these agencies, know what is required to gain approval, and excel in providing the high level of coordination that facilitates the permitting process.
